At Awaken we have a cast of characters that while quirky and unconventional, make us proud. These people are the soul of the company. And this here is what we like to call the Awaken Think Tank. We're pulling back the curtain on each individual's instincts and thought process. Some might think were giving away our secrets, but we're confident enough to know that our unique nature cannot be replicated.
Using InDesign® you can now create and publish your content through Adobe. Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite allows you to create and distribute projects on tablet devices like the iPad, Android, and Playbook. The "cool factor" is that you're on a tablet device. The not so "cool factor" is that there are a couple barriers of entry, but for the right publication, project, client, and audience, the delivery and availability may be worth it.

The newly re-launched Awaken website is our first one to incorporate all the latest technologies. HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET 4, JQuery 1.6 animations, and many social networking APIs are dotted around. What about the older browsers that don’t know what the heck HTML5 is? There are some light scripts and CSS rules applied that allow legacy browsers to gracefully degrade and view the site just as friendly as anywhere else. It really shows off what the latest technologies are capable of, and how it will look the same on a wide variety of browsers, platforms, and devices.

Awaken is thrilled to announce that the B HERE campaign has received an IAC (Internet Advertising Competition) Award for the Best Health Care Websites. The IAC award is not solely for willyouBhere.com, but the entire initiative (i.e., willyouBhere.com, the B HERE Facebook page, and its synergy with AsianLiver.com).
